Mr. Spock Learns the Russian History

In Vladimir, Spock visits the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl, built in 1165.
"1165 in Stardates is -3718.75 according to my calculations."

Spock visits the Golden Gate, which leads into the town of Vladimir.
"Illogical.  This building is not gold and neither is there a gate."

Spock at the grand Assumption Cathedral (aka the Dormition Cathedral) in Vladimir.
"The artwork in this religious center is as beautiful as it is old."

At the entrance to Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Spock is ready to experience some of the world's greatest artworks.
"Someone needs to clean this man's toenails."

In Saint Petersburg, Spock enjoys the fountains of the Peterhof.
"Ah, the beauty of flowing water is relaxing."

Still at Peterhof, Spock admires the beauty of this large fountain.
"The aquatic engineering is ingenious."

Spock visits the beach on the Gulf of Finland.
"This is the northernmost place on Earth I have ever been."

Spock (not pictured) visits the famous Red Square.  To the far right (barely seen) is the Kremlin.  The small building on the right is Lenin's tomb, the far cathedral is St. Basil's Cathedral, and the buildings on the left are a large shopping center.

In Moscow's Red Square, Spock visits the Memorial to Minin and Pozharsky which stands before St. Basil's Cathedral.
"The view of Red Square from this vantage point is vast and full of beauty."

Spock stands right smack dab in the middle of Red Square.
"I've seen this many times on the Enterprise viewer, but it fascinating to be here myself."
