Environmental Suit |
HOW
TO:
1)
I removed all the color lines and pockets from the environmental suit.
2
) I removed 1/4 of an inch from the bottom of the helmet using the dremel.
3)
I sanded the circles on each side of the helmet with the dremel.
4)
I added three lines of Crayola magic to the top of the helmet to form the
ridges. I used water to wet the tip of my finger to smooth the ridges.
5)
For cloth between the helmet and the body, I used a rectangular piece
of white cloth, I fold it the bottom part and sewed in a piece of tie clip
that comes with your regular trash bags.
6)
I used glue to attach the cloth to the bottom of the helmet. It looks
like a long helmet, but I need it extra material to form the fold ridges
underneath the helmet. The tie clip provide the circular support around
the body.
7)
I painted the helmet separately, covering the front with scotch tape.
8)
the boots were done by using the Model Magic compound. I cut the bottom
part of the suit to prevent the bulking on the boots. Just by using water
I was able to smooth the boot around his feet.
9)
after the boots dried, I painted the entire suit 4 times. one day in between
each coat of paint.
10)
put the helmet on and I was finished. |
