______ CAPTAIN PICARD as DIXON HILL

PARTS NEEDED:
9" Picard (Any will do - I used the Target Exclusive)
9" RIck Blaine from Casablanca
Optional: 9" Target Picard Box

HOW TO:
One of the most easiest customs to make. Simply open both the Picard and Blaine figures. Remove the clothing from each. Put the pants and shirt from Blaine on Picard. (You may wish to use the jacket also - I found it too bulky when putting the trenchcoat on). Once the Trenchcoat is on, tie the belt in a semi-knot to the side. Using the boil & pop method, carefully pop the hat off of Blaines head. You may have some resistance, if so, boil it a little longer. If you're displaying Picard loose, you'll have to "shrink" the hat down a tad, or fasten it to Picards head. The hat is a little too big. I put it in the microwave for about 25 seconds. - It's SUPER HOT when you bring it out, so be sure to wear oven mitts. Once removed, "hold" the hat in place so it bends to fit on Picards head. If you're displaying Picard in the box, then theres no need to do anything to the hat. Get a "soft-sleeve" for a trading card (Baseball, Hockey, etc.), and put the hat in it. Tape it to the upper-right corner of the backer in the box and fasten Picard in as well. Seal the box back up with a piece of tape and you're done! The reason I suggest using this box is because it blends in nicely without any stock numbers on the front of the box. You could however use any other "starfleet" Picard box you desire.
*Note: I've only ever made one of these and I had no problems shrinking the hat. Depending on your experiance, and strongness of temperature of your micro-wave, your result may vary slightly.
